How treatments work

Pre-treatment guidelines:
Avoid strenuous exercise 24 hours prior to the treatment: Ensure that you are well-hydrated leading up to the treatment.
Avoid aspirin, brufen or other blood thinning agents for 1 week prior to procedure.
Please consult your primary care physician before stopping any prescription blood thinning agents
Post-treatment guidelines:
The treatment site may be tender to touch – you may take analgesia such as paracetamol.
Apply ice to the treated areas to minimize swelling.
Arnica tablets may be helpful to minimize swelling and bruising.
Avoid exposing the treatment area to swimming, sauna, direct sunlight or tanning beds.
Wear SPF 50 on the treated areas if it may be exposed to sunlight.
Avoid exercise for 48 hours.
Avoid alcohol and stay hydrated
