How treatments work

• A topical anaesthetic is applied for 30 minutes

• The skin is cleaned thoroughly.

• The hyaluronic acid gel is injected in 10 or more superficial injections with minor discomfort.

• Antiseptic ointment is applied.

• You can return to normal activity

Pre-treatment guidelines:

• Avoid aspirin, brufen or other blood thinning agents for 1 week prior to procedure. Please consult your primary care physician before stopping any prescription blood thinning agents

• Avoid retinols or benzyl peroxide 2-3 days prior to treatment

• Avoid dental, medical or invasive procedures 2 weeks before and after treatment

• If you have an infection, rash or acute inflammation in the area to be treated that we will need to re-schedule the appointment for when this has resolve

• Enhance the effectiveness of skinboosters by keeping your body well-hydrated in the days leading up to your treatment.

Post-treatment guidelines:

• Stick to a gentle skincare routine post-treatment, avoiding harsh chemicals and abrasive treatments.

• Shield your skin from the sun with an SPF 50.

• Stay hydrated to enhance the effectiveness of the skinbooster.

• Attend any scheduled follow-up appointments to monitor your progress and ensure the longevity of your radiant results.
